Cairns/Kuranda Skyrail Tour. Your adventure will either start or end at Caravonica Lakes Station. This magnificent ride takes you high up in the rainforest canopy. The flora is absolutely spectacular, the air and smell or life in rainforest canopy and the sweeping views of the Coral Sea are so different to what we know on the ground. It really does take your breath away!

Bookings & Travel information:

Skyrail Transfers: transfers to and from accommodation houses in Cairns, the Beaches and Port Douglas are subject to availability. These prices are subject to change without notice. Child fare, 4 to 14 years inclusive. Infants travel free; parents should obtain a boarding pass for infants.
Family rate: includes travel for two adults and two children for the price of two adults and one child.
Children and Infants: must be accompanied by an Adult.
One Way Skyrail Experience: takes approximately 1 & 1/2 hours which includes time at two rainforest mid-stations.
Return Skyrail Experience: takes approximately 2 & 1/2 hours which includes time at two rainforest mid-stations.
Opening Times: Skyrail is open every day (except Christmas Day) 8.30am - 5.30pm.
Bookings times: cabins move continuously - please book a time for travelling. Bookings are available in 15 minute time slots throughout the day.
Luggage: please bring a day pack only - luggage is not able to be taken on the cableway.
Baby strollers: fold-up baby strollers can be taken on the cableway.
Smoking, Food & Drink: for the protection of the environment, smoking and the consumption of food and drink is prohibited in the gondolas.

Itinerary

Departs Cable Cars leave every 15 minutes.
Location Caravonica Lakes, 11km North of Cairns City.

A One-Way Skyrail Experience takes approximately 1 and 1/2 hours (Return 2 and 1/2 hours) which includes time at two rainforest mid-stations.

Food, drink and smoking are prohibited in the cabins.

What to bring

Bring a day pack only (luggage is not able to be taken on the cableway).
Fold-up baby strollers can be taken on the cableway. Ramps provided.
Don't forget the camera.

Opened Every day (except Christmas) 8.30am - 5.30pm.
