In order to protect our beautiful region, there are specific areas allocated to camping in Cairns and Far North Queensland. Most of them have camping facilities.

Cairns  City Caravan and Tourist Parks also have camping facilities or perhaps you'd like to go with a Safari Tour guide.

The Cairns National Parks and Wildlife Office has  all the information you  need to know for your camping adventure. They can assist with locations and tell you about the things to watch out for. You can also purchase permits directly from them.

If you don't wish to camp there is an abundance of Cairns Accommodation to choose from.
