Cairns scuba diving trips to the Great Barrier Reef. You can discover the exotic beauty of the Great Barrier Reef for the first time. You can snorkel with one of the crew to guide and assist. If you feel the urge to become part of the underwater world, our Dive Instructor can give you an opportunity to try a personalised Introductory Dive.

Certified divers can also experience the pleasure of diving at pristine sites not visited by the masses. Night dive, swim, throughs and drift dives are all possible.

Itinerary

Live aboard - Dive 3 days & 2 nights

LOCATION
We visit reef areas such as Thetford, Moore, Milln, and Flynn Reefs, each of which offer varying dive or snorkel locations, with different coral formations and featuring a multitude of tropical fish life.

Departs Marlin Marina Mondays and Fridays from Marlin Marina (D) Cairns.
Boarding at 8.00am and returning 4.00pm to 4.30pm on the last day of your cruise.

Locations will be chosen subject to weather conditions and with your safety in mind. The operator reserves the right to cancel any trip or use a substitute vessel if required. Prices listed are valid until 31st March 2010.
Environmental Management Charge, Cairns Port Authority Charges and Administrative Fees are not included and are payable onboard.

The Boat

THE BOAT
You will fall in love with Santa Maria as you experience her character. A Cairns icon she is designed after the gaff rigged schooners built in the 1800's and made of solid hard wood using modern technology. She has ample deck space for sunbathing and relaxing. Her beautiful lines will give you the unique feeling of nostalgia, adventure and romance. We encourage all guests to join in and experience the pleasure of sailing on this classic vessel. You need to experience diving off this classic sailing boat. The overall package this yacht provides ensures that you will form memories that last a lifetime.

CREW
Our experienced, friendly skipper and crew will make this cruise an experience of a lifetime, including delicious meals (please advise of any special dietary requirements), and every attention paid to your comfort and well being.

SMALL GROUPS
The SANTA MARIA takes a maximum of 10 passengers so you can experience that personalised attention not possible on bigger vessels. Our objective is to allow you to relax and enjoy the experience at your own pace. Join in and help sail the boat or just 'supervise' from the sundeck.

PRIVATE CHARTER
The SANTA MARIA dive boat is also available for private charter so if you have a special occasions to celebrate or a group of friends that you would like to share this memorable sailing experience with, please ask for our private charter rates.

Note: A nominal charge is incurred by the government as Reef Tax - this is not included in the above rates and will be quoted upon enquiry.
