- Bed and Breakfast accommodations are
private houses where hosts live on
the premises. Usually having from 1 to 4
Bedrooms to let. In most B&Bs breakfast
is included in the price and some of
them are self contained.
Caravan Park
- Caravan Parks/Trailer Parks as they are sometimes
called offer camping and caravan sites.
Also have self contained villas or
cabins.
Hotel
- Are
licensed dwellings with restaurants and
bars. Bedroom is not usually separated
from the living area. Some hotels in
Cairns have apartment style rooms with
self contained facilities from 1 to 4
Bedrooms.
Hostel
- Or
Backpackers which they are some times
called are a budget style of
accommodations which have shared
facilities such as dormitory rooms,
bathroom & WC, kitchen. Also have
private rooms for the families.
Motel
- Room
service breakfast and in most cases
rooms are not separated from the living
areas. Tea coffee making facilities,
fridge. Some have apartment style rooms.
Resort
- Can be
a mixture of Apartments and licensed
hotel style of accommodation. Some have
restaurants, bars, recreational
facilities, room service meals, fridge.
Some have self contained facilities from
1 to 4 Bedrooms.
